But the hour is coming, and now is,
when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth;
for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

(John 4:23)

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
that there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
t
hat there will not be room enough to receive it.”

(Malachi 3:10)

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds,
and to him who knocks it will be opened.

(Luke 11:10)

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(Romans 10:17)

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
who bring glad tidings of good things!”

(Romans 10:15b)

Five Absolute Duties of Every Saint

  • Lord’s Day Worship

The Bible teaches that Lord’s Day worship is essential and vital in our spiritual lives. God is seeking those who can worship Him in spirit and truth. The Lord’s Day (Sunday) is the day that Jesus resurrected and the Holy Spirit powerfully filled the 120 and thus established the church. On this precious day, we come together as the body of Christ to worship and honor the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.

  • Tithe

The Bible teaches that tithe belongs to God. In fact, our entire lives belong to God. However, God only requires that we bring tithes to acknowledge our faith and reliance in Him. We are so immersed in the world for six days that our hearts drift away. Tithing brings our hearts back to the Lord  Tithing shows in action and obedience our loyalty to the God who did not spare His own Son for us.

  • Daily Dawn Prayer

The Bible teaches the importance of prayer and seeking God early. We do not have because we do not ask. We are far away from God because we do not draw near to Him. Above all else, God must  come first always. He gave His firstborn to us and exhorts us to do the same with the “first” in our lives.

  • Daily Word

The Bible teaches that faith comes by hearing the words of Christ. Jesus said that His words are spirit and life. Every saint must be immersed in the word of God. Holding onto His words is the essence of our faith.

  • Evangelism

The Bible teaches that all believers have been commissioned to bear witness of Jesus and make disciples. The Holy Spirit was sent for this purpose. If we do not share, then no one can receive the Good News. Bearing witness of Jesus is the greatest privilege of Christians who have been redeemed.
