He Gives Power
to Each One of Us as a Gift

(Ephesians 4:7)
“The Church’s work? Someone else will take care of it. I don’t know much, so I’ll just stay still.” Aren’t you merely spectators of the church’s work?
1. Each One of Us
God has bestowed upon each of us a certain power, enabling us to serve the church. This is not merely for fulfilling the church’s mission but also a way for God to guide each one of us to heaven. Our redemption is a declaration of separation from the dominion of sin, and what is crucial thereafter is that we do not fall back into sin. For this purpose, God has not only granted us the opportunity to serve the church but has also apportioned gifts for each of us to serve.
2. With Intimate Fellowship
When God guides us, He does not treat us uniformly like machines; instead, He respects the individuality of each of us and guides us with intimate fellowship. The thought that “God values unity, so He wouldn’t care about someone insignificant like me,” is far from the fact. The core point of unity emphasized by God is not uniformity but the harmonization of diversity. Therefore, every individual is a precious and strategic part within God’s plan.
3. Through the Work of God
Many worldly individuals believe that all their possessions are either inherently theirs or acquired through their own exceptional efforts. However, we, within Christ, acknowledge that everything we possess is a gift from God. Then, why does God grant them to us? Let us not focus solely on our personal purposes but seek to understand God’s will. Let us abandon a spectator attitude toward the church’s work and instead use the gifts given by God for His works. Let us recognize that God, who redeemed us, is now with us and continues to guide us.
