The Wisdom of God

(Ephesians 5:15)

The wisdom of the world is revealed in how we handle the situations we encounter in life. God’s wisdom, however, extends far beyond this. The most crucial issue for humanity, destined for destruction, is saving and preserving the soul, ultimately leading to eternal salvation. It is God’s wisdom that makes this possible.

1. Activation of Wisdom
When we were born again, we received God’s wisdom. From that moment, our task is to activate the wisdom that has been planted in our souls. To do this, we must first acknowledge that this wisdom has already been given to us. Afterward, we must diligently strive to understand the will of God. As our knowledge of His will grows richer, we come to understand God’s heart more deeply, enabling us to view everything through the lens of His wisdom.

2. Elements That Hinder Wisdom
Sin is the primary factor that prevents God’s wisdom from being activated. Those who live as slaves to sin, even if God’s wisdom has been planted within them, cannot avoid living a foolish life because it remains inactivated. Such individuals take sin lightly. They persist in thoughts and actions that oppose God, yet fail to recognize them as sin. A weak understanding of God leads to a weak understanding of His holiness, which in turn diminishes their awareness of and caution against sin.

3. The Path to Be Walked with Wisdom
Unfortunately, many Christians live as though they lack wisdom. This does not mean they do not believe in God, but their hearts are distracted by greed for other things, hindering them from fully obeying His Word. We have become the children of God. Therefore, let us place our complete trust in His Word. By activating the wisdom He has given us, let us walk wisely on the path of life bestowed upon God’s children.
